WHAT: Fresno Grizzlies players who helped the Houston Astros to their 2017 World Series title will be recognized and presented with their world series rings in a pre-game ceremony on Saturday, May 12 prior to that evening's game against the Salt Lake Bees (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim). Minor league coaching staff will also receive their rings on Saturday. WHERE: Chukchansi Park, Downtown Fresno. WHEN: The pre-game ceremony will begin around roughly 6:45 p.m., with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. DETAILS: Players receiving a ring that contributed Major League time to the Houston Astros last season include LHP Reymin Guduan, INF/OF Tony Kemp, 1B A.J. Reed and INF Tyler White. Coaching staff presented with rings will include Fresno manager Rodney Linares, who led Double-A Corpus Christi a season ago, and Grizzlies strength and conditioning coach Dwayne Peterson, who was also at Double-A in 2017. Returning Fresno pitching and hitting coaches Dyar Miller and Darryl Robinson will also receive their rings, in addition to the Fresno Grizzlies' 2017 medical staff, highlighted by team athletic trainer Lee Meyer. "The Houston Astros( Houston Astros championship rings) are proud to recognize the contributions of our affiliates to our 2017 World Championship ( championship rings) ," said Astros President of Business Operations Reid Ryan. "Our organization's farm system is an essential part of our success and we look forward to honoring those that had a direct impact on our franchise's first World Series title." Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:40 p.m., in order to view the entire ceremony.
