Hier die neusten Fantasy News von den Buffalo Bills Player. Viel Spass dabei !
Fred Jackson RB Buffalo Bills
Jackson said he expects he'll have to compete for a roster spot, the Bills' official website reports. "We'll see what happens with me getting cut or not," Jackson said. "I'll go out and do whatever I can to make sure that doesn’t happen. We’ve got to compete every year. This year is no different than any other year. I’ve got to go out and compete for my job."
Fantasy Analysis
The Bills can save approximately $2.5 million by releasing the 34-year-old Jackson, who may face competition from Karlos Williams, Bryce Brown and Anthony Dixon for a roster spot. Jackson's comments aren't necessarily off base, but he was a solid contributor last season and is one of the more popular players in the organization. Even with C.J. Spiller swapped out for the more durable LeSean McCoy, the Bills can probably find a way to make use of Jackson's diverse skill set. If not, the veteran should find plenty of suitors as a free agent, though his days as a lead back are seemingly numbered.
Marquise Goodwin WR Buffalo Bills
Goodwin will compete in the long jump at the U.S. Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend, which may eventually present a conflict with training camp, WGR 500 reports.
Fantasy Analysis
If Goodwin finishes in the top three and meets the IAAF qualification mark of 8.10 meters, he'll be eligible for the World Championships in Beijing, scheduled for Aug. 22-30. Given that he could be on the roster bubble, Goodwin may have a tough decision to make. He's a better long jumper than football player, but from a financial perspective it probably makes sense to do whatever is necessary to stay on an NFL roster. Regardless of how this shakes out, Goodwin is highly unlikely to have a key role in the Buffalo offense this year.
EJ Manuel QB Buffalo Bills
Manuel heads into the break until training camp with some nice momentum in the three-man quarterback race, the Bills' official site reports. Said coach Rex Ryan: "He has had some moments. I thought EJ did well, he threw the touchdown pass in the two minute. Kind of looked a little watered down there on defense, but it was good. It was great to see. He looked pretty good and he had some nice plays.”
Fantasy Analysis
No one will doubt Manuel's athletic tools and big arm, but if he prove he can run Greg Roman's offense and look savvy running the two-minute drill while taking a step in his footwork, decision-making, and accuracy, he may enter training camp with a slight leg up on Matt Cassel and Tyrod Taylor. Manuel reportedly looked strong in almost all areas through this week's OTA practices.
Sammy Watkins WR Buffalo Bills
Watkins (hip) said he will be full-go for training camp in late July, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Fantasy Analysis
The potential star receiver is already being worked into some 11-on-11 play, so we're not really worried about his status at all of the 2015 season. Watkins' skill set or work ethic are also not in question. What is a concern, however, is the potential for the Bills to get mediocre play at the QB spot, as well as their pronouncements that they intend to be a run-heavy offense.
Karlos Williams RB Buffalo Bills
Williams was fourth in the running back order Wednesday during OTA reps, but he has flip-flopped with Bryce Brown between the fourth and fifth spot the past few weeks, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Fantasy Analysis
Williams appears to be behind LeSean McCoy, Fred Jackson, and Boobie Dixon. While things could change with a strong camp, if everyone stays healthy Williams' path seems to be to simply make the team (and not the practice squad), and then start working his way up from there.
Fred Jackson RB Buffalo Bills
